A non-profit organization reached out to us for help. This case study will explore how we developed this system and the benefits it has brought to the non-profit.

In the Winter of 2022, a non-profit organization in Langley British Columbia reached out to us for help. They were struggling to keep up with the demand for their website, and needed a way to speed up the process of getting order from their online store to a shipped package in their warehouse. We worked with them to develop a "Pick and Pack" system that would allow them to automate the process of sorting and packing orders. This case study will explore how we developed this system and the benefits it has brought to the non-profit.

Aether Automation was tasked with building a "pick and pack" system for the non-profit. The non-profit has been struggling with their old system, which only allowed them to pack 90 orders at a time and wouldn't let them filter for specific products, rush orders, or specific customers in the order. This was a problem for the non-profit since they're getting more than 200 orders every day, and sometimes some of the products in the open orders are out of stock.

Aether Automation needed to build a system that will allow the non-profit to filter for specific products, rush orders, specific customers, and more in the order. The system should also be able to pack more than 90 orders at a time.

Aether Automation built a "pick and pack" system for the non-profit that used Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory and a custom Zoho Creator app. Orders were stored in Zoho CRM and Zoho Inventory. The Zoho Creator app was built to search for open orders in Zoho CRM and Inventory. These searches could look for orders with specific products, rush orders, back ordered products. As well as being able to search for orders within a date range.

When the order search is completed in Zoho Creator, the non-profit can click to create a packing slip for every order in the search, and automatically track those orders in Zoho Inventory as packed. The Zoho Creator app could manage 1000+ orders at once without slowing down or crashing.

The system allowed the non-profit to quickly and easily find the orders they needed to pick and pack. This saved them time and money, and helped them better serve their customers.
